01 · The challenge
Challenge a product
Why does it still work the way it did ten years ago?
Pick a tool people tolerate rather than love. Rebuild it around what AI makes possible now.
Rethink a service
Why is this still a queue, a form and a wait?
Booking, applying, renewing, resolving. Find the service that runs on friction and remove it.
Break a business model
Why do we pay for it this way?
Per seat, per hour, per hassle. Propose the model that charges for the outcome instead.

Good to know.
Is pre-registering a guaranteed seat?
No. There are 35 seats and pre-registering tells us you’re interested. We’ll email you with next steps once the details are confirmed.
Can I enter solo, or do I need a team?
Either. Build solo or in a team of 3–4. Come with friends, or come alone and find teammates on the night. Each seat is one person, so every teammate pre-registers.
What will I actually build?
Something that challenges an existing product, service or business model, using AI. The full brief is shared with registered attendees.
Will there be AI credits to build with?
Yes. Our AI partners are providing credits. Which partners and how much is confirmed closer to the date.
Who is it for?
People who want to build with AI. Final eligibility and how the 35 places are allocated are confirmed with registration details, so say what you’d disrupt when you pre-register.
Will there be more of these?
That’s the plan. This is the first Delve hackathon, and future editions will live on this site. Pre-register and tick the box to hear about them.
